Tell your representatives: Now is the time to end Connecticut's death penalty!

In 2009 Connecticut passed a bill that would have repealed its death penalty but it was vetoed by former Governor Rell. In 2011 repeal seemed like a shoe-in until two pro-repeal Senators decided at the last minute to delay their votes until 2012.

Meanwhile the death penalty still fails victims’ families, risks sentencing innocent people to death, and wastes taxpayer dollars.

Thousands of citizens have already called on their lawmakers to support repeal. Now we need your help to ensure state leaders know the time has come to end the death penalty in Connecticut!

Justice may have been delayed, but it will not be denied.

Take action today!
