We’ve learned from many families that have lost a loved one to murder that the system is only compounding their pain, while their real needs for counseling and other services to heal and rebuild their lives are largely ignored.

These voices of direct experience are helping turn the tide and reshape the movement to end the death penalty into one that also works for the needs of surviving families. If you know any family members who have lost a loved one to murder and support our work, ask them to be involved by joining EJUSA in our work.
