As you probably know, I am a member of WIN - Women's Information Network.  WIN is Washington’s foremost professional, political, and social network dedicated to empowering Democratic, pro-choice women.

On Wednesday, June 22nd, WIN is hosting its landmark event - the 22nd annual Women Opening Doors for Women (WODW) and I think you should attend!

WODW celebrates the founding of the organization 22 years ago around a kitchen table, when women came together to help each other achieve professional success.  The event consists of two parts: a networking reception, followed by 30 simultaneous dinner parties.  The networking reception includes a keynote speech by a prominent and inspiring woman leader in our community and the opportunity to mingle with the WIN community.  Immediately following the reception, the dinner parties will take place in private homes and businesses throughout the DC area.

Your WODW dinner party will be like the first WIN event, an intimate, informal, issue-focused gathering.  This year’s topics range from getting a job on the hill to how to start your own non-profit to women in combat and how to manage your social media profiles when your personal life goes public.
