Mission Statement:

 WIN’s Communication Network is dedicated to empowering and improving the position of young, Democratic, pro-choice women in Communications by positioning itself as a resource for professional growth through education and networking opportunities.

Chairs:

Lauren Karasek co-chairs the WIN Communications Network. She is a counselor at Dezenhall Resources, where she specializes in social media and netroots campaigns and performs traditional public relations and crisis communications functions for national corporate clients. Prior to her time at Dezenhall, Lauren held high-risk communications, media relations and corporate communications positions at Potomac Communication Group, GCI Group and Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, respectively. She has worked on national brands including Starbucks, General Electric, Dell, Pioneer, RadioShack, and the United Way of America. Lauren holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and American Studies from the University of California: Berkeley and is currently earning a graduate certificate in Political Management at George Washington University.
