Events

Each year, WIN hosts two WIN-wide signature events as well as numerous issue-focused smaller-scale events. From our two major events, Women Opening Doors for Women and Young Women of Achievement, to panel discussions and resume swaps, WIN events provide members with opportunities to meet like-minded women and build their personal and professional networks in the best manner possible: face-to-face interaction.

All WIN events are planned by volunteers. WIN members who volunteer on an event committee can gain valuable professional development in fundraising, event planning, public relations, and more - all skills that WIN members might not have a chance to practice in their current jobs.

Mark your Calendars for Women Opening Doors for Women (WODW)

WIN's 2010 WODW Event will be held on Thursday, June 17th, starting at 6:30 pm, at the AFL-CIO Building located at 815 16th St NW, Washington, DC.

Tickets go on sale in May.
