Join Emerging Green Builders for a walking tour of LEED projects in the Financial District. We will meet at the Orchard Garden Hotel and visit several LEED certified projects, including the hotel, Knoll Furniture Showroom, NRDC's offices, and the Bently Reserve Conference Center. Participants will hear about issues encountered and innovative solutions employed during the LEED certification process. The tour will end with a Happy Hour at the Orchard Garden Hotel. Come meet and mingle with other emerging green building professionals! Space is limited, RSVP today!
Volunteering Opportunity
The San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR) is opening a new Urban Center, and EGBers are invited to volunteer and be the first to see the new green building.
SPUR will be hosting Grand Opening events for the new Urban Center May 27th - May 30th and they are looking for volunteers each day to make sure guests are welcomed into our their new building.
- Wednesday May 27th, 5:00 - 9:00: City Builders Reception and Donor Wall Unveiling
- Thursday, May 28th, 3:00 - Midnight: Ribbon-Cutting and All Member Party
- Friday, May 29th, 10:00 - 5:00: Open House
- Saturday, May 30th, 10:00 - 5:00: Community Day
