LEED 2009, Managing the Transition

This workshop will be a comprehensive overview and analysis into the green building movement and specifically, upcoming changes to the LEED Rating System. Drawing from the experience of helping to write the LEED 2009 Reference Guide and Exam Prep Study Guides, GBS experts will provide an outline of the 2009 changes to the core LEED products using project examples to illustrate the core changes. This informative session will help you improve your understanding of what is coming and what impact these changes will have on your future projects. Additionally, the presentation will explore what is happening with key market sector rating systems, such as Schools, Healthcare, and Retail as well as updates in LEED professional accreditation. As a change of pace, July's program is oriented around social interaction and networking. Free of charge, this event is meant to encourage dialogue, networking and informal exchange of ideas around the topics of green building in our local communities. Commissioning for LEED Projects
