LEED 2009, Managing the Transition

July 24th - USGBC-NCC/AIA SF Offices, San Francisco

August 25th - StopWaste, Oakland

Led by Green Building Services, this workshop will be a comprehensive overview and analysis into the green building movement and specifically, upcoming changes to the LEED Rating System.  Drawing from the experience of helping to write the LEED 2009 Reference Guide and Exam Prep Study Guides, GBS experts will provide an outline of the 2009 changes to the core LEED products using project examples to illustrate the core changes.  This informative session will help you improve your understanding of what is coming and what impact these changes will have on your future projects.  Additionally, the presentation will explore what is happening with key market sector rating systems, such as Schools, Healthcare, and Retail as well as updates in LEED professional accreditation.  By the end of this two and a half hour training, you will have an understanding of how to effectively communicate with team members and clients about what these changes mean on-the-ground. This training will be delivered by a GBS Principle and Senior Consultant. Register today - early bird member rates available!

Consequently, 555 Mission Street achieved USGBC's LEED Gold certification. 555 Mission Street is a 34-story Class A Commercial Office building capturing stunning views of the city and the bay with floor-to-ceiling windows.  The design of 555 Mission took pride in the simple understanding that human beings live, work and breathe in the structures Tishman Speyer creates.
