August 13th - UC Berkeley Extension SOMA Center
Attend a free information session at the UC Berkeley Extension's SOMA center, 95 Third Street, to learn about newly created training programs with an interdisciplinary approach - energy, transportation, corporate social responsibility and global change management - designed to give professionals immediate impact in their careers. Beginning this fall, new exciting courses will be offered at UC Berkeley Extension, including Sustainability Management, A Global Survey of Sustainable Energy, Energy Use and Climate Change, Photovoltaic Systems, taught by Ken Han - a visiting scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab - and a course in Green Politics.

Come join us for the first ever USGBC-NCC & EGB SF Summer BBQ Mixer. As summer starts to fade, we are going to host a fun event for USGBC-NCC members and non-members alike to get together, trade ideas, network, and share a meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The event will be held at the picnic tables towards the Southern end of Dolores Park (right next to the playground). The event cost goes to buying food for everyone (vegetarian options will be available) but please bring your own beverages. Feel free to bring your kids, your dog, a fun game, or anything else to pass the time at the park. RSVP!
