Everyone should be able to get to work, school, a hospital, or a store safely and affordable. But bus service is getting cut and too many streets have potholes and lack sidewalks.
There’s a glimmer of hope. The House Transportation Committee has passed three bills — House Bills 1898, 1953, and 1959 — that give communities the flexibility to raise revenue to save bus service and fix local streets and sidewalks.
But we're just hours away from an important legislative cutoff and we need to get the House to take a floor vote now. Send an email to your legislator now.
