Tell the House Judiciary Committee to Oppose HR 3803

Rep. Trent Franks (Arizona) authored a bill (HR 3803) that would ban nearly all abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy for women in the District of Columbia. Though this bill would only directly affect the women of DC, it is a wrong-minded attempt using false claims and junk science to chip away at the right of women to make their own conscience-based decisions on personal health matters. As Catholics committed to social justice, we cannot stand by and allow this discrimination to go unanswered.

Please take a moment to contact your Member of Congress if they are on the House Judiciary Committee. See the list below for the full roster.

If your Member is not on the House Judiciary Committee, please take a moment to contact Rep. Franks’ office directly at (202) 225-4576 to tell him that Catholics do not support his efforts to ban abortion after 20 weeks in the District of Columbia.
