More than 70 communities across North America and around the world are already signed up!

Dear Supporter,

December 10th marks the 62nd anniversary of the passage of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights! Celebrate this important occasion in your community by signing up for RHR-NA's third Human Rights Shabbat!

Human Rights Shabbat commemorates the intersection of Jewish values and universal human rights. Programs are available for both adults and children. Already, more than seventy communities from around the globe are participating this year!

This year, Human Rights Shabbat will be December 10-11, with the alternate date of December 3-4 for communities with a conflicting program. Participation can be either minimal or more extensive-the important thing is to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the passage of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in your community. Human Rights Shabbat is free, and materials will be distributed in early November.

With International Human Rights Day falling on a Friday, this is a wonderful year for Jews around the world to celebrate universal human rights together with people around the world.
