Tell your Representative to pass the "Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking Deterrence and Victims Support Act of 2010" before Congress adjourns on December 17th

Dear Supporter,

Over the past several months, we have asked you to urge your elected representatives to support the Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking Deterrence and Victims Support Act of 2010, which addresses the severe lack of services for child sex trafficking victims in the United States. If passed, this legislation would provide victims of human trafficking with access to much needed shelters and support. It would also provide grants to state and local governments to train law enforcement officers and increase investigations.

Last week, the Senate unanimously passed S.2925, their version of the bill. But with the 111th Congress set to adjourn on Friday, time is running out for this legislation to come to a vote in the House of Representatives. The National Coalition to End Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking is asking all of us to contact our Representatives right now to ensure that this bipartisan bill passes.
