Transportation for America is committed to getting our country moving again with a plan for smart infrastructure investment and a fix-it-first approach, which we'll release tomorrow morning in events all across the country.

We're calling on the presidential candidates and the next Congress to work together to:

• Build an environmentally sustainable transportation system that matches or exceeds those of our strongest economic competitors;
• Invest for a clean, green recovery for our country's economy;
• Fix what's broken - our crumbling highways and bridges - before they build something new that would only deepen our dependence on foreign oil; and
• Provide more travel options that are cheap, efficient, and help people avoid high gas costs and traffic congestion.

But we need you to echo our call.
