Transportation for America Partners,

Things are moving quickly on Capitol Hill as Congressional leaders and the next Presidential Administration consider the upcoming economic recovery bill. I'd like to share with you the latest campaign materials we've assembled on this topic and give you an update on the dates for the Transportation for America Message Training sessions we discussed on last week's call. The Message Training is scheduled for Dec. 15th at 3:00 PM EST and Dec. 17th at 10:00 AM EST.

New Resources on Coalition Partner Website

We've posted the latest materials on the coalition partner website. On the homepage, you'll find:

A one-page overview of our proposals for the economic recovery bill
Our recommendations for specific legislative language to be included in this bill
A template Letter to the Editor urging Congress and the new administration to use the economic recovery package as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for a sustainable and green recovery.
*NOTE: This template can be tailored to reflect the impact of a green recovery on your community or to spotlight a noteworthy local project. Sections in need of personalization are highlighted in yellow.

Transportation for America Message Training

Our communications team will lead two message training sessions next week to go over talking points related to the economic recovery bill and discuss ways to present a united front in conducting outreach on behalf of the campaign. Please see below for the session dates:

Monday, December 15th at 3:00 PM Eastern
Wednesday, December 17th at 10:00 AM Eastern

We will send out more information later this week about these training sessions with instructions on calling in to participate.
