Transportation for America Partners

On May 24, Transportation for America will be re-releasing our report Dangerous by Design, which looks at pedestrian fatalities and talks about the importance of how we design streets with regards to their safety. We are organizing local releases of the report in many parts of the nation and would like to give interested partners a chance to help with media outreach around the report.

We will have a webinar and conference call briefing partners who wish to help release the report on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 2 PM EST with James Corless, Transportation for America Campaign Director. Please email Heather Brutz by Tuesday May 17 at 5 PM EST if you wish to join this call.

Wherever possible, we would like to provide the media with positive stories of successful local projects promoting pedestrian safety as examples of the sort of work we should be undertaking everywhere. Your help in telling those local stories is invaluable. We hope that you consider working with us in the release of this report to help us provide local context.
