The current food security crisis requires greater political will and policy changes from our government to eliminate global hunger. Together we can to send a strong message to Congress and to the President that it is finally time to Root Out Hunger!

WE BELIEVE that it is possible to cut world hunger in half by 2015 and eliminate hunger within this generation.
WE ENVISION a world in which people and communities everywhere have the power to keep themselves and their families well-fed; a world in which even the most poor and vulnerable have sufficient access to safe and nutritious food; a world in which all people have the ability to live healthy and active lives.
WE URGE the White House to designate a high-level position within the administration to design, implement and oversee a government-wide comprehensive strategy to address global hunger.
WE DEMAND our political leaders in Congress support a comprehensive strategy on global hunger and affirm U.S. leadership in meeting this critical global challenge.
