Spotlight on Children's Health
CPEHN has developed nine fact sheets highlighting some of the social and environmental factors that influence the health of children of color.
Focusing on the California counties with the highest populations of communities of color (Alameda, Fresno, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Santa Clara), our Spotlight on Children’s Health series examines factors such as poverty, school safety, and high school drop outs, and their impact on health disparities.
These fact sheets utilize data from KidsData.org and were funded by the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health in Palo Alto, California.
