Urgent Action Alert!
With a budget on the table, the AZ Legislature is hurtling bills through before the end of the session in a couple weeks. They need to hear from you!
Thursday, June 11th, at 2:00 pm, SB1175 goes before the Senate Rules Committee, the committee that serves to determine the legality and constitutionality of bills before they progress further in the legislative process.
SB1175 is the perfect example why we have this committee--the bill is blatantly unconstitutional! SB1175 tries to preempt the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution by granting local law enforcement the ability to charge a person unlawfully present with criminal trespass.
PLEASE take 30 seconds RIGHT NOW to send an email to the AZ Senate Rules Committee. We've made it as easy as two clicks!
