Urgent Alert: SB1175, Final Read! Tell your Senator for a final time, NO!
Urgent Action Alert!
Monday, June 15th, SB1175 goes before the Senate Committee of the Whole (COW) for the third and final time. If the bill passes today, it will move over to the House of Representatives for their review--where we will be just as ready to voice our opposition to it!!!
Let's voice our opposition today--loud and clear! No on SB1175!!!
SB1175 takes away the responsibility of the heads of local law enforcement agencies and Boards of Supervisors to create policy, and oversee and approve laws and policies that govern their counties.
The bill is also an unconstitutional attempt to preempt the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution by granting local law enforcement the ability to charge a person unlawfully present with criminal trespass.!
PLEASE take 30 seconds RIGHT NOW to send an email to your AZ Senator. We've made it as easy as two clicks!
