Tell Congress: No More Border Wall!
Debate is scheduled to begin tomorrow in the U.S. House of Representatives over the Department of Homeland Security appropriations bill (HR 2892). There are three proposed amendments to this bill that would require the construction of even more border wall!
Please call and/or fax your congressperson in the U.S. House of Representatives today! Take 30 seconds right now and email your U.S. Representative and tell them to OPPOSE the following amendments to HR 2892:
PLEASE OPPOSE: Brown-Waite Amendments #15 and #47, which would provide $89 million for border fencing, offset by funds from the Undersecretary of Management.
PLEASE OPPOSE: Steve King's Amendment #38, which “Would prohibit funds for border security fencing, infrastructure and technology to be used for anything but at least two layers of reinforced fencing and roads, pursuant to section 102 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (Real ID Act of 2005).
