President Barack Obama has said that, not only must the economic stimulus package "jump-start the economy" but we must also "put a down payment on the structural problems that we have in our economy."  Inequality built into our economy created a giant hole at the bottom of our economy through which the entire nation is now falling.  We can only fix the economy by fixing inequality.

We need your help to call on Senators to make sure that new jobs, healthcare programs and other benefits include women, people of color and low-income communities --- all of us.  The stimulus package must reach everyone.
