National Phonebanking Campaign
Join our National Phonebanking Campaign to mobilize the grassroots to pressure the key swing-vote senators to vote Yes on the New START Treaty. The Senate is considering scheduling a floor vote sometime in the 'lame-duck session' so we have to get as many calls as we can into Senate offices between November 15th and December 13th.
It's this simple:
1. get a handful of volunteers together for a phonebank
2. the volunteers call voters in your state or a target state
3. ask the voters to call their senator and tell them to vote Yes on New START
Your members can literally multiply their voice in just a couple hours of calling!

4. Script for Callers [Word .doc]
Before you print copies for callers, make sure to edit the script to insert your personalized information everywhere there is red text. This includes your organization's name, and the name and number* of the Senator you are asking people to call.
*Calling DC offices is much preferable to calling in-state offices. Look up your Senator at senate.gov to find the number of their DC office.
