Tell Governor Walker: Show some respect for Trayvon; cancel your NRA speech!

Across Wisconsin and across America, people are demanding justice for Trayvon Martin. Gov. Walker, on the other hand, has decided to give a speech at the annual convention of the NRA -- the authors behind the “Stand Your Ground” law that’s helping shield Trayvon’s killer from justice.

This is a new low, even for our “guns anywhere” Governor.

Please join people all across Wisconsin in asking Gov. Walker to skip the April 13th, NRA convention out of respect for those seeking justice for Trayvon Martin.

Dear Governor Walker:

I call on you to cancel your appearance at the NRA Convention out of respect for those seeking justice for Trayvon Martin.

Our leaders should be talking about how they’ll keep us safe from gun violence, not giving speeches to the same lobbyists who pushed the crazy ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws that are helping shield George Zimmerman from justice.
