Stand up for victims of gun violence -- Journey For Justice, Wednesday, July 11th. Please join us at a tribute ceremony to support the victims of gun violence and their families. Let them know you care. Throughout the day, WAVE board and staff will be rollerblading, biking and hiking 86 miles -- one mile for every person who is killed with a gun each day in our country -- and then we'll be walking an extra mile to show our determination to do whatever it takes to put an end to gun violence. We hope you will join us at the closing ceremony to offer the families of victims your support and concern. • 5:15 pm - Gather in the parking lot of the of the Mequon Nature Preserve (8200 West County Line Road) • 5:30 pm - Press conference and closing tribute ceremony, which includes an optional short walk, a presentation of peace cranes and inspirational comments from elected officials, clergy and the victims' families.
