Use Your Power: Stop LNG NowMulti-national energy companies are moving forward with a dangerous proposal that would degrade natural resources in southwest Oregon, place rural communities at risk and increase our dependence on foreign fossil fuels - all to send the imported energy to California! The Jordan Cove/Pacific Connector Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project would build an import facility in Coos Bay and a 230-mile pipeline that would cross hundreds of salmon-bearing streams. The pipeline also threatens old-growth forest habitat, rare plants and private property owners who are being threatened with eminent domain. |
