The US Global AIDS Plan

OK, so you can't call...

That's OK. You can still take action and help make sure the global AIDS budget doesn't get cut.

Can you send a message to Senators Schumer and Durbin via their Facebook pages or Twitter accounts?

Senator Schumer:

Click "Like", then leave a message like this one:

Global AIDS must be a priority in the 2011 budget. The GOP's proposal would mean one million people with AIDS will die. Will you keep your promise to fight for people with AIDS, and not let global AIDS funding get cut in 2011?

Here's a sample Tweet you can use

@chuckschumer, keep your promise & save one million lives. Will you commit to no #globalAIDS #budget cuts in 2011?

Senator Durbin:

Click "Like", then leave a message like this one on one of Senator Durbin's existing posts (you cannot just make your own post on his wall, sadly):

Global AIDS must be a priority in the 2011 budget. The GOP's proposal would mean one million people with AIDS will die. Will you keep your promise to fight for people with AIDS, and not let global AIDS funding get cut in 2011?

You can tweet at Sen. Durbin with a message like this one:

@chuckschumer, keep your promise & save one million lives. Will you commit to no #globalAIDS #budget cuts in 2011?

Thank you for taking action today!
