Central Waterfront Workshop

On Wednesday, Feb. 8, the Seattle Central Waterfront design team is hosting a public workshop on "Access and Mobility" along the newly designed waterfront.

We need to preserve the movement of people and goods. The new waterfront will be an essential connection through downtown for many bicycle commuters, as well as a new recreation opportunity for many others.

This is our chance to get it right. And getting it right means:

  • A wide bicycle facility for all riders
  • Strong east-west connections for all modes
  • Safe, signalized intersections
  • Shorter crossing distances for bicycle riders and pedestrians
  • Design for no more than 30 mile-per-hour traffic

At the workshop, there will be a short presentation followed by an open, informal discussion. Please come and voice your opinion. We can even touch base with you before-hand so you know what to expect. Please scroll down to register.
