Fund Puts Focus on Community Collaborations to Benefit Youth
The Aspen Forum for Community Solutions has invited 36 communities to apply to the Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund. The focus of this fund is to incentivize community collaborations focused on addressing the needs of the 6 million+ young people 16-24 who are disconnected from school and work. The selected communities have been leaders in advancing comprehensive and systemic approaches and committed to building education and employment pathways to serve this often-forgotten youth population. We are pleased that several Communities Collaborating to Reconnect Youth (CCRY Network) communities have been invited to apply. The CCRY Network is an outgrowth of those communities that started with the Youth Opportunity Movement and have over a decade of experience in braiding and blending resources across funding streams to create comprehensive interventions for disconnected youth.
