Tell your governor: "Latinas need health care!"

Latina Week of Action logo

Earlier this summer the health care reform law known as the Affordable Care Act was upheld by the Supreme Court. We called on our leaders to move forward for health justice and implement this landmark legislation. Despite increasing support for the health reform law, which will expand access to care for millions of Latinos, some lawmakers have threatened to stand in the way and prevent relief from reaching our communities.

Latina holding sign that says

No matter what state you live in your governor needs to hear from you. We must send a clear message from Latinas from California to South Carolina and everywhere in-between: “I deserve access to health care. It’s time to implement the law, expand Medicaid, and protect birth control.”

We are powerful. And we will stand together in declaring our power and taking action for health justice. Please join us.
