Protect the Supreme Court and Roe v. Wade!

Please sign this petition urging Senators Murray and Cantwell to work with their colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee and urge them to explore Judge Sotomayor's views on Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to choose.

 

Dear Senators Murray and Cantwell, President Obama made a historic nomination in his selection of federal appeals court Judge Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court. She has a distinguished legal career; however, we want to ensure that she is committed to protecting women’s health and the fundamental right to reproductive freedom. Please urge your colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee to fully explore her views on the historic Roe v. Wade decision and the right to privacy in the upcoming confirmation hearings.
