We are a not for profit corporation formed in February 2009

Our purpose is to pursue, support, evaluate, and educate others with regard to delivering superb health care in a vital and sustainable environment. 

This includes but is not limited to:

• Determining how an ideal microsystem works
• How measurement of an ideal microsystem may best be undertaken
• Develop curricula for creating ideal practices either from scratch or by retrofitting into existing practices
• Determining external and internal practice supports for best practices
• Identifying environmental barriers to ideal practices and advocating changes which may reduce or eliminate those barriers

The corporation was formed by a group of front line health care providers who had participated in the grant-funded (by the Physician's Foundation)  Ideal Medical Practices project.  In spite of all the various groups pulling for health care reform, we perceive the need for a more singular focus on effective primary care.
