Specific examples of places which are important to you are great.

I am writing to express my strong support for wilderness and to thank you so much for your leadership in introducing H.R. 6280 to protect most of the lands in the Hidden Gems Proposal.  Your initiative and work on this issue is extremely important to me.

I am also very happy that you have not ruled out introducing additional wilderness legislation in the future.  I am glad to know that you will continue working with local governments, residents, and stakeholders on issues and areas that your current legislation doesn’t address.

Wilderness is such an important part of what makes Colorado special. Your bill and the Hidden Gems Proposal would protect important low elevation habitat and safeguard our wildlife and clean water. Both offer us an opportunity to build on our state's legacy of environmental stewardship.

Over the years, the Hidden Gems Campaign has engaged in thoughtful and extensive outreach to all concerned groups, even their opponents, in order to ensure the proposal really is citizen generated.  Even if everybody doesn't agree, everyone has had a seat at the table.

Thanks again for your leadership on this important issue and hopefully we'll have new wilderness in Colorado in the near future!
