We, the undersigned, declare our support for several Wilderness Proposals in Central Colorado, including Senator Udall's Central Mountains Outdoor Heritage Proposal, Representative Polis's Eagle and Summit County Wilderness Preservation Act and the Hidden Gems Wilderness Proposal and are willing to be listed as supporters.
We support Senator Udall's and Representative Polis's efforts to protect key mid-elevation wild lands in Colorado and encourage him to introduce legislation that would protect these public lands. We urge public officials at the local, regional and national levels to support these wilderness Proposals to ensure the strongest possible protection for additional wilderness areas in the face of the ever-increasing threats of resource extraction, species depletion, and human development. We must act now to preserve these unique wildlands as our heritage, and for the sake of future generations.
