In late January at the behest of the Oregon Cattlemen's Association, several state legislators introduced legislation that would allow the state to kill the surviving members of the Imnaha pack of endangered gray wolves. This pack was the first to return to Oregon in more than 60 years and is the family of the young male wolf called Journey whose 1,000-mile odyssey to become the first wolf in California since 1924 has attracted international attention. The bill is in direct response to the legal stay we were issued in October by the Oregon Court of Appeals that halted all wolf killing in Oregon. Your action is need now to halt this misguided legislation. Please personalize the letter below and click send.
