Protect the First Amendment at the University of Massachusetts

Following a rash of violations of free speech at University of Massachusetts Amherst, the university has an opportunity to restore its tarnished reputation.

Please help FIRE and the students at UMass Amherst whose rights are under attack by customizing the messages below. Tell Chancellor Holub to investigate the theft of The Minuteman newspaper and to overrule a recent student government resolution which demands a coerced apology from the newspaper's publishers in order to avoid being derecognized. Also, write to SGA Senate Speaker Shaun Robinson and demand that he respect the free speech rights of the students he represents and to follow the SGA's own rules. Help us encourage him to withdraw the ill-conceived Senate resolution.
