Don't Frack the Delaware!

On November 21st, the Delaware River Basin Commission will vote on proposed regulations to proceed with unconventional gas drilling and hydraulic fracturing - also known as fracking - in the Delaware River Basin, the source of drinking water of over 15 Million people.  Fracking the Delaware River Basin could be catastrophic for those living in, and receiving their water from, this sensitive, pristine and historic watershed.

Currently, there are indications that two of the five voting members from Pennslyvania and New Jersey are going to vote to approve regulations to drill.  Whereas, New York State has indicated that it will vote no, which leaves two votes still publically undecided.

It is critical that we put as much pressure on the remaining voting members and their associated parties to ensure that they vote no and dash the gas industry's plans to wreak havoc on the Delaware River Basin.

Take Action now to these critical targets and weigh in with your opposition to the DRBC's woefully inadequate and dangerous proposed regulations.
