Dear Congress: No Abortion Ban!

After a disappointing sellout of abortion coverage in the Senate bill to the whims of Senator
Ben Nelson (D-NE), it's more important than ever for us to stand strong together.

The fight is not over yet and staying quiet on this issue is not an option.

Join us and keep pressure on our Members of Congress to support fair healthcare for women
and to not let the anti-choice lobby corrupt a bill intended to help ALL Americans.

Sign our petition to Congress and make your voice heard: No Abortion Ban!

I’m joining with the Center for Reproductive Rights to urge
all Members of Congress to ensure reproductive healthcare
for women in the healthcare reform bill.

Every American has a right to fair, quality healthcare.
In order to do that, it’s critical that women’s needs are
accounted for and protected.

It is absolutely critical that the compromise language
in the final bill ensures that women across the country keep the
abortion coverage that they already have.

Abortion is a common experience. It is a
constitutionally protected medical procedure
that one in three women will have in their lifetime
and a majority of private insurers cover it today.

Women have compromised their needs substantially
to pass the bill, and will not lose further ground in this fight.

I am joining with thousands of other Americans
to urge Members of Congress to fight for women in this country
and reject any attempts to roll back the clock on
women's health and rights.
