ES Day at The Wilds

The Ohio Ecological Services Field Office of the Fish and Wildlife Service will be partnering with The Wilds (http://www.thewilds.org) on Saturday, May 19th from 10:00-6:00 in conjunction with their Wildz Fest event to celebrate Endangered Species Day. We will have a booth there and focus outreach on the endangered American burying beetle, which we did our first release of captive beetles into the wild at the facility last year and have another release planned for this month. A kids activity is planned as well as giveaways and information provided on endangered species.
