This Friday, America will celebrate the sixth annual Endangered Species Day! Thousands of species-saving activists like you will be celebrating amazing conservation success stories and standing up for the protection of still imperiled species.
You can help bring attention to the need to continue to protect endangered species and defend the Endangered Species Act by sending a letter to the editor of your local newspaper today. This Endangered Species Day, we will celebrate the Endangered Species Act, one of the most popular and effective laws ever enacted. It has been responsible for bringing species like the bald eagle, grizzly bear and humpback whale back from the brink of extinction.
Unfortunately, there have been some recent political attempts to weaken the law and strip protections from our nation's wildlife and wild places. By speaking out in your state, you can help ensure that the Endangered Species Act remains in place, safeguarding imperiled species for generations to come.
