Right now, Shell’s drill ships are on their way to America’s Arctic Ocean to begin the most aggressive offshore Arctic drilling program in history. To save the Arctic, we must convince President Barack Obama to stop them.
That’s why, on Saturday, April 28, we’re uniting to hold Polar Bear Uprisings in towns and cities all over the country. These events will call attention to Shell’s risky drilling schemes. They will be fun, easy and effective – will you join us?
With Shell’s ships moving, we need to get President Obama's attention. Along with Sierra Club, Center for Biological Diversity, Oceana, Alaska Wilderness League, and dozens of other environmental groups, we're hosting Polar Bear Uprising events all around the country on Saturday, April 28th. With these events, we’ll set a world record for the most dancing polar bears united to "Protect America's Arctic Ocean."
