Protect Our Oceans From Offshore Oil Drilling

The oil spill emergency in the Gulf of Mexico requires action on the part of all of us.

This requires a change of historic proportion.

Please consider writing to your Congressional Representatives and Senators asking them to prevent another disaster by:

• banning all offshore drilling in any new areas
• supporting renewable energy technologies and research

In the good times, we get complacent, but it is now, in the bad times, that we must demand better protection for the environment and be willing to make some sacrifices ourselves.

Writing letters and conserving energy may not seem like much as we watch wildlife, marshes, beaches, and people’s lives damaged, but it’s something we can each do now and it can be part of the shift toward a better future.
