The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region III, has developed draft final Underground Injection Control (UIC) permits (PAS2D215 BWAR and PASD216BWAR) for Bear Lake Properties, LLC, under the authority of the UIC regulations at 40 CFR Parts 124, 144, 146 and 147, for the purpose of constructing and operating two Class II D injection wells to dispose of produced fluids, produced in association with oil and gas production operations.
description: Bear Lake Properties plans to dispose of these fluids through two injection wells, the Bittinger #1 and Bittinger #4, into the Medina Formation located in Columbia Township, Warren County, Pennsylvania. A permit is required to meet the provisions of the EPA administered UIC Program in Pennsylvania.
