Join us September 16 to 18 for Allegheny Defense Project's 18th annual Fall Gathering at Tracy Ridge.
The Allegheny Defense Project (ADP) is holding its 18th Annual Fall Gathering at Tracy Ridge (Loop B) in the Allegheny National Forest (ANF) September 16-18.
Schedule (coffee and fire at all times):
Friday Sept 16:
4PM Set-up camp
6PM Dinner
Saturday Sept 17:
8AM Breakfast, Silent Auction Bidding begins on over 50 quality outdoor clothing items.
8:30AM Speaker, Tyler Heron, of the Seneca Nation, member of the Deer Clan, will discuss the impact of paradigms on the environment, culture, and community.
10AM Hike and Forest Watch Training. ANF-ASP Boundary. Lunch on the trail
12PM Lunch for those hanging out at the fire, chatting and drinking coffee.
5PM: Dinner
7PM: Music and smores (bring your instruments! we'll have smore fixins)
9PM: Night Hike

9AM Silent Auction Bidding ends (and the winners take home their loot!)
10AM Tracy Ridge Loop Hike
10AM Optional Canoe/Kayak expedition from Willow Bay to Tracy Run. Hike from the mouth of Tracy Run to Water Falls. If you are interested in this trip you must RSVP Allegheny Outdoor Adventures.

ANF-ASP Border Work Day September 10

Location: NY Allegany State Park Administration Building (Red House Area of the Park)

On September 10 Allegheny Defense Project (ADP), and Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) will work with state surveyors to walk and mark the boundary between the Allegany State Park in New York, and the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania.
