On February 4th and 5th we had a blast on our Winter Outing backpacking and camping trip at Tracy Ridge! The purpose of the 2012 Winter Outing was to gain winter camping experience and to enjoy our beautiful winter weather...and we did! We had a good group over the two day period. We managed not to freeze although I did make snow inside my tent. It was in the teens at night, the sky was clear, the moon was almost full, and we found a beautiful spring--the headwaters of Coffey Run.
