This month, National Geographic launched the TV series, "Border Wars." The show documents life on the border from the perspective of Border Patrol.
Like Fox's TV show "COPS," the one-sided portrayal only serves to stereotype and stoke fears. From the Southwestern wolves endangered by Border policy to the humanitarian crisis of those traveling through the desert, there's a lot for National Geographic to cover.
