Are you going to VOTE?

NWHN members have the privilege and the responsibility of choosing the organization's board members - the people, who volunteer their time to set policy, raise money, ensure we use our resources responsibly and govern the organization.  

The NWHN board is a fabulous group - so fabulous that every year we receive far more nominations than open seats.  In fact, we even make our incumbents run again.  That means we need our members to make decisions about who will serve on the NWHN board.

This year we have 17 candidates running for 8 seats.  The candidates are Ninia Baehr, Candace Cabbil, Dazon Dixon Diallo, Emma Duer, Denise Dunning, Shalini Eddens, Patricia Garcia, Anu Manchikanti Gomez, Kira Jones, Kara Loewentheil, Lindsay Love, Dara Mendez, Rowan O’Connell-Barger, Janice Periquet, Cheri Pies, Tiffany Reed, Mia Kim Sullivan.

If you're a dues-paying member, you'll have already received election materials in the March/April newsletter.  Fill out your ballot and return it to us in the special envelope marked "Election Materials Enclosed".   Ballots must be post-marked by May 1.  We're sorry, but we can't accept votes sent in via e-mail or fax.  

So get out your pen, and mark your choices.  We want to know who you want leading the organization you care about.  We'll announce the results of the election in late May, and new board members will begin their terms on June 9.
