Ohio: Fight back for women’s health and rights!

We heard recently from our friends at NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio that state Representative Lorraine Fende has introduced legislation that would ban abortion for women in the most tragic of circumstances.

Rep. Fende's legislation (H.B. 611) would greatly restrict women’s access to safe abortion care in Ohio. It would ban abortion after 22 weeks, which is the time when a woman who might be carrying a much-wanted pregnancy could find out if she faces complications or a fetal anomaly. Women in these heartbreaking situations need the best medical advice and all their options, not politically motivated abortion bans on the medical care they are allowed to receive.

Write to your representative, as well as Rep. Lorraine Fende and Speaker-designate Bill Batchelder, today and tell them this legislation is unacceptable!
