Thank Council for their Support of the Safety Net!

On Tuesday the DC Council unanimously passed a revised budget that prioritized affordable housing, healthcare and support for DC's homeless families! The revised budget restores $18M to the Housing Production Trust Fund, $23M to the DC Healthcare Alliance, $1.1M to Victim's Services, and invests $4M to get homeless families out of shelter and into housing. (For a more detailed description of what we won in the budget, visit our blog: www.makeonecitypossible.com)

But our fight is not quite over. It's important in these moments that we make sure the Council knows that we appreciate their support of the safety net. The final budget vote is coming up on June 5th and we think we might be able to get a couple more of our priorities addressed. Please help us thank the Council for their support and ask them to incorporate our few remaining priorities.

Below you will find the different thank you letters being sent to different Councilmembers. Feel free to edit as you'd like. When you are ready to send them, scroll to the bottom and follow instructions to submit.
