State Innovation in Building the Green Economy: Michigan’s Story - Webinar Registration

The Apollo Alliance and the Corporation for a Skilled Workforce invite you to participate in a webinar, entitled:

State Innovation in Building the Green Economy: Michigan’s Story

Michigan’s green-related firms have been dramatically outperforming the state’s overall economy.  Innovative state policy initiatives are helping to drive this growth and move Michigan toward a 21st Century green economy.  In this webinar, Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth (DELEG) Chief Workforce Officer Andy Levin will tell the story of how Michigan is investing in its clean energy manufacturing sector, and preparing its workers for jobs in the green economy.  Mr. Levin will be joined by representatives from the Corporation for a Skilled Workforce and the Apollo Alliance, who will discuss the importance of manufacturing to the clean energy economy, and the role of state innovation in rebuilding our domestic manufacturing sector.

When: Thursday, April 15 – 4pm-5pm EST/1pm-2pm PST

Presenters:
Andy Levin, Chief Workforce Officer, Michigan Department of Energy, Labor, and Economic Growth (DELEG)
Taryn MacFarlane, Policy Associate, Corporation for a Skilled Workforce (CSW)
